The Fit Check: Where We Begin

The Fit Check is a short initial conversation to assess working together.

I don't pitch because if you're faced with structural challenges — and want to resolve them — persuasion is unhelpful. You require clarity.

My services are tools for different circumstances.

I'll explain the best options for your situation and then you decide. Sleeping on it is wise. I don't do proposals, but I can share a decision support guide and a follow up email for light orientation.

Here's how it works:

You don't need to prepare. Messy, unfiltered signal is more useful than a polished summary. Just show up and tell me what's going on.

We'll use the time to clarify the situation, confirm whether it's in my lane, and figure out the right starting point if it is.

This is not a diagnostic session — the goal is to determine which engagement best fits your situation. If you want to work together, great. If not, great.

This call is usually 20 minutes.

If you want to bring 1–2 other stakeholders, you can change the duration to 45 minutes when you book.

Maximum number of attendees for this call is 3 people on your side, but it's better with 1–2.

If the situation calls for more people or deeper work, there's a service designed for that — and we can talk through which one fits.

Why now

  1. Fit checks are capped at one a day to preserve my ability to process signal cleanly. Availability ≠ Capacity.
  2. The longer the issues that got you to this page go unaddressed, the more the risk compounds and false motion hardens.
  3. The more false motion has hardened, the more finesse is required for correction.
