Diagnostic and advisory fees are often not disclosed until you're neck deep evaluating a consultant. That's unhelpful at best, and incoherent at worst. I prioritize clarity and transparency instead.

After we chat, my follow up cadence is approximately 5-10 touches over 18 months. That's about once per fiscal quarter, depending on the severity of the situation.

For organizations — Fees for organizations varies by service tier and breadth/depth required.
Fees are not assessed based on your potential consequence, unless you ask me for a small read on very large issue. In which case, the fee is a signal you need to hear, and risk mitigation for me.
